THE RED STRING THEORY

After a scientist’s attempts at playing God causes a disruption within the multiverse, he must not only right the wrongs created from his selfish actions, but also bring balance to a broken world on the brink of falling in to darkness forever. After manipulation of three generations of three families, three young individuals discover that their very existence is due to events that took place within this illusion of choice. As more discoveries are made, a dark plot unfolds to transform the entire world that they know into something different. However, with every new clue discovered, a ceaseless question looms in the shadows: is this world worth saving at all? The Red String Theory is a 12 chapter series following the intertwining story of three generations of three families from the years immediately following WWII to the present day. A cerebral tale that takes a closer look into the unexplored depths of the human experience and the darker corners of our being, the story focuses on the choices we make and the idea that every action has a reaction. The Red String Theory delves into the world of military conspiracy, political espionage, the criminal underworld, and fringe science.

Each season is designed to allow the audience to delve deep into the perspective of our characters, creating a roller coaster of entertainment while committing to the subject matter and the characters and story arcs. Rather than the traditional “one style all the way through” approach of more mainstream shows, The Red String Theory allows everything from music, color palette, cinematography, and overall style to give the audience a vast array of experiences. This not only gives you the feel that each story is unique, but it truly gives the characters ownership of their own stories while keeping that center line for the overall story always clear and present. This series does fit into one world with a clear beginning, middle, and end. However, what sets it apart from other series like it is the dynamic difference in each season.

Along with the central story, several “peripheral” projects exist to create a deeper and more fulfilling experience for audience members. These range anywhere from podcasts, video blogs, social media platforms, commercials and advertisements, and even a game. This allows audience members to fully immerse themselves within the world of The Red String Theory. Our story is, at its core, a simple three act series with the intent of allowing audience members to immerse themselves in a fully interactive experience through multiple media platforms. This project is structured to allow for limitless possibilities for spin offs, games, merchandising, and much more.
